The seat allocation for the incoming National Assembly will bring changes to the dynamics in the August House.

The Venezuelan election observers say the participation in the democratic voting process by Namibians was a reaffirming of constitutional democracy.

The team leader, Erika Farias, said they witnessed content among the eligible voters to have a say in the affairs of their country.

President Nangolo Mbumba has applauded Namibians for their patience and calm during the elections, as he extended the voting period at selected polling stations.

Dr. Mbumba extended the voting period on recommendations of the Electoral Commission of Namibia.

Residents of Tsintsabis Settlement in Oshikoto's Guinas Constituency say they are headed to next week's polls with mixed feelings, largely disappointed with the lack of development in their area.

The community says they are tired of surviving from government handouts.

Researcher and Survey Warehouse consultant Cristie Keulder has emphasised the need for balanced, fair, and unbiased reporting in the run-up to the elections to ensure that voters, regardless of whom they support, are equally well informed.
