When he took over as the Governor of the Ohangwena Region, two critical issues needed Sebastian Ndeitunga's attention: a lack of potable water and a poor road network, areas which he prioritised. 

Namibia and Germany have co-funded two road projects in the Ohangwena Region for N$140 million. 

The communities of Omukukutu-Omboloka in Oshikunde and Omulondo-Oshuuli in Ohangwena have been crying for a better road network.

President Nangolo Mbumba has stressed the need for sufficient investments to modernise Namibia's road network, which currently carries nearly 72% of all cargo transport. 

The Road Fund Administration (RFA), the Roads Authority (RA), and the Walvis Bay Municipality have signed an agreement to upgrade and expand the road network leading to the port.

The Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, has reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring a regional road network that supports economic growth.

Mutorwa addressed officials at the inauguration of two key roads at Rundu in the Kavango East Region.
