The President of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP), Mike Kavekotora, has pledged to introduce a progressive inheritance tax of approximately 50% if elected to govern.

He made this announcement during the launch of the party's manifesto in Ongwediva.

Otjozondjupa Region Governor James Uerikua is calling for the inclusion of the agricultural sector in the Public Finance Management Bill.
