A San family living in Otjinene says they continue to face underdevelopment and the harsh reality of poverty.

While they express gratitude for the government assistance they receive, they often find themselves with nothing to eat and unable to afford even their most basic needs.

San garden project pleads for water support

The Chairperson of the San Community Garden Project at Maranata Plot in the Epukiro Constituency, Paul Chapman, is pleading for water provision to help the garden achieve its desired result. 

Chapman said the borehole will help the community improve their yields and, eventually, their livelihoods.

Some of those who applied for 12 positions advertised by the Ministry of Education say although they are qualified, they were left out.

Ohangwena Regional Governor Sebastian Ndeitunga has encouraged the parents of children from vulnerable communities, especially the San community, to ensure that their children remain in school while the government is trying by all means to provide them with basic necessities.
