The Electoral Commission of Namibia has commended Namibians for participating in this year's elections peacefully and in numbers, which affirms the country's democratic maturity.

Residents of the Otjiwarongo and Grootfontein constituencies in the Otjozondjupa Region can expect to vote for their new constituency councillors in separate by-elections before June 2025. 

The delegation of the European Union, along with EU member states, has congratulated President-Elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and all newly elected members of the National Assembly.

The votes scored by all presidential candidates of the various political parties vary, with two top candidates outperforming their party candidates by wide margins of above 40,000.
