A group of descendants of the Namibian genocide, mainly hailing from the OtjiMaherero/Tjamuaha dynasty - clad in traditional attire and men on horseback gathered at Okahandja over the weekend to pay homage and celebrate the heroes and heroines of the colonial struggle. They also observed the 99th anniversary of the reburial of the remains of struggle icon, Samuel Maherero, further paying respects to ancestors buried at the town's sacred gravesites.
