The Republican Party of Namibia (RP) has pledged to focus on agricultural development in the Zambezi and Kavango regions to boost job creation and reduce the migration of residents to Aussenkehr in the ||Kharas Region for employment in grape companies.
RP President Henk Mudge, speaking at a rally in Aussenkehr, proposed initiating development projects in these regions to expand local fields and provide quality seeds, helping residents achieve larger harvests that yield enough to save for the future. “When we start to do this, it will be going well with the people of Namibia,” he said.
Mudge also committed to using revenue from the country’s mineral resources for the benefit of all Namibians. “We’re not going to nationalise the mines, but we will renegotiate to ensure the government earns a fair share. Companies will keep 70% of the profits, while the remaining 30% will benefit the government and be used to pay off national debt,” Mudge stated.
While canvassing for votes, he assured that the RP government would prioritise the welfare of Namibians. “Come this election day; make sure you vote for the Republican Party,” he urged.
The rally also featured RP Vice Chairman George Walikupo, who called for careful consideration at the polls. “When you go to the polls, you must check wisely and vote for the right person,” he advised.
