With schools resuming next week, parents and guardians are rushing to stores to buy school stationery.
Long queues are the order of the day, and while some are happy to be nearly done, others are just getting started.
Some of the parents nbc News spoke to complained about the high cost, while others expressed frustration with not finding all items listed by schools.
Waltons indicated that the number of customers visiting has been on the rise daily, and staff are constantly restocking the school stationery shelves.
Bianca Marggraff, the manager of Waltons, said that since the beginning of this week, they have had a significant increase. Every day we have seen more and more people coming to the store earlier, and they have been busy from open until closing.
