President Hage Geingob has called on the young people of Africa to embrace the Fourth Industrial Revolution as part of the economic transformation of the continent.
Dr Geingob assured young people that African Union Member States will continue to enhance youth participation and inclusion through representation at all levels of decision-making.
In Namibia, the government is in the process of implementing a cross-cutting National Youth Policy that incorporates youth development programs.
This is to ensure that young people are empowered to become self-reliant and productive citizens through improved education, health and economic outcomes, as well as increased political participation.
President Geingob was speaking virtually at the Africa Youth Connekt Africa Summit, held in Kigali, Rwanda, this week.
