Three members of Namibia’s delegation to the Pan African Parliament (PAP) were sworn in today during the opening of the Extraordinary Session of the seventh PAP in Midrand, South Africa.

Namibia and Zimbabwe have reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing cooperation between their judiciaries following a meeting in Windhoek between Chief Justice Peter Shivute and Zimbabwe’s Chief Justice Luke Malaba.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between Namibia and Zimbabwe’s judicial institutions during a courtesy visit by Zimbabwe’s Chief Justice Luke Malaba and his delegation.

For the 2024/2025 financial year, the Teaching Service Committee (TSC) has processed 2,636 staffing cases, including 346 promotions.

The TSC also processed 1,729 contract-to-permanent conversions under the In-Service Education and Training (INSET) programme.
