The Chairperson of the Southern African Regional Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization, Richard Luhanga is in Namibia on an official visit.

More than one hundred police officers from the Zambezi Region were conferred promotions from constable, sergeant, and warrant officer to sergeant class one and two, warrant officer class one and two, and inspector to the nearest rank.
