The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has completed the training of polling officials ahead of the upcoming Grootfontein Constituency by-elections, scheduled for 17 June.

The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) is aiming to bring change to Grootfontein through its candidate, Rosina Nuses, in the upcoming by-elections.

Speaking at a party rally in Grootfontein, Nuses said her top priorities are access to water and electricity.

Learners from less privileged backgrounds in the Otjozondjupa Region have received stationery to support their studies through the Standard Bank Namibia Scholarship Grant.
