Former MP Vipuakuje Muharukua says he resigned from his political home of 10 years, the Popular Democratic Movement, on his own terms.

Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) MP Inna Hengari has tabled a motion in the National Assembly calling for an urgent debate on the overwhelming presence of foreign music on local radio stations.

Popular Democratic Movement leader McHenry Venaani says Namibia's current and future oil deals need to be renegotiated for Namibians to also benefit from these resources to provide fair jobs and better working conditions for Namibians.

Venaani joined workers at Walvis Bay in a march on May Day.

The National Assembly has not received a written resignation letter from the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) member of parliament, Vipuakuje Muharukua.

This is contrary to reports that Muharukua has resigned from the party and the National Assembly.

The leader of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), McHenry Venaani, has called on President Nangolo Mbumba to look into the affairs of the fishing industry. 

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Loide Kasingo, is heading a delegation to the Extraordinary Session of the Sixth Parliament of the Pan-African Parliament at the parliament's headquarters in Midrand, South Africa. 

The session is scheduled to run from March 20th to March 27th, 2024.
