President Nandi-Ndaitwah meets regional leaders on 2026 way forward

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has met with the political leadership of the Zambezi, Kavango East and West, Ohangwena, Oshana, Omusati, Oshikoto, and Kunene Regions to discuss the way forward in 2026.

The gathering took place at the President's residence at Onheleiwa in the Ohangwena Region.

Former refugees to escalate demands to president

Modestus Amutse appointed new minister of Industries, Mines and Energy

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has appointed Modestus Amutse as the new Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, effective 2 December 2025.

Amutse took over from Frans Kapofi, who had been acting in the position since the dismissal of Natangue Ithete in October.
