Two unemployed men from Shañondho Village in the Mukwe Constituency of the Kavango East Region have planted five hectares of sunflowers as a way to keep themselves occupied.

Residents of Mukwe Constituency in the Kavango East Region are calling for immediate action regarding the rising threat of crocodile attacks in their communities. 

They say if the government does not take action, then they will be forced to take their own drastic measures. 

The residents of Thipanana Village in the Kavango East Region assert that they are not receiving any benefits from the rural electrification project.

The villagers claim that NamPower wrongly diverted the electrification project to another village.
