Acts of kindness have poured in for a mother of five, Sharon Muyatwa, who was left destitute after their home was flooded by heavy rains. 

Muyatwa and her family were left without shelter and food.

Five accused appear in court over assault of Katima Mulilo teacher

Five accused out of the 11 suspects arrested over the alleged assault of a 58-year-old male teacher during a land dispute appeared before Magistrate Laina Namboga at the Katima Mulilo Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

They were granted bail of N$2,000 each.

Katima Mulilo plans bus and taxi rank amid flooding concerns

The Katima Mulilo Town Council says plans to build a bus and taxi rank will soon come to fruition, following complaints of flooded hiking points by drivers and passengers.
Due to recent heavy rains, hiking points have become saturated, making accessibility a hurdle.
