NWR donates essential items to boarding schools across Namibia

Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has donated essential items worth N$700,000 to boarding schools across the country.

According to Nelson Ashipala, Corporate Communications Manager at NWR, the schools to benefit are yet to be identified.

Ohorongo Cement donates various hospital equipment to MoHSS

The Minister of Health and Social Services (MoHSS), Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, says about 2.1 million people in the country depend on public health care services.

Dr. Shangula disclosed this during the donation of various hospital equipment valued at N$1.5 million by Ohorongo Cement and its partners.

Ngwangwa Primary School receives stationery

More than 150 underprivileged learners of the Ngwangwa Primary School in the Kavango West Region received school uniforms and stationery, worth N$50 000.

Rent a Drum, Snyman Transport, Shoprite and Woermann Brock this week collectively made the donation. 

UNFPA donates sanitary kits to Odeitotela Combined School learners

With the dignity of schoolgirls considered a key factor in school drop-outs, the United Nations Population Fund has donated sanitary kits to learners at Odeitotela Combined School in the Omusati Region.

The kits are part of a N$7.4 million grant by the Japanese government and are meant for eight regions.
