The Geological Survey for Windhoek recorded a tremor of magnitude 2,3 on the Richter scale, which struck approximately 10 km south of Windhoek, on Monday 7 August at 02h45. It was recorded by two of our seismic stations, Ariamsvlei and Windhoek. Seismic phases were picked for these stations for analysis. So far no damage to property or injuries to people have been reported.
