A 49-year-old woman at farm Houmoed 872 in the Kalkrand area, Hardap Region, died after an alleged serious assault by her 53-year-old husband. Namibian Police Force (NamPol) public relations officer, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi, in the weekly crime report issued on Sunday, said the woman’s body was discovered Friday morning in her house at about 08h00. Shikwambi said the deceased was alleged to have been in a heated argument with her husband on Wednesday. He was arrested and police investigations into the matter continue.
