Namibia marked World Children's Day at Walvis Bay.

The event was attended by the presidents of Botswana, Zimbabwe, and the host nation, Namibia.

Zambia was represented by the Minister of Community Development and Social Services, Doreen Mwamba.

It was a night dedicated to the children, one that was not only attended by children from Namibia but also those from neighbouring countries.

They directed the proceedings at an opportune time, not only to celebrate their day but also as a platform to engage their leaders and those who matter in their lives.

Through their dialogue, they spell out their needs, respect for their rights, and existence.

Emphasis was also placed on that, although they are often referred to as the leaders of tomorrow, for them, leadership begins today.
