The 12th session of the 6th National Council adjourned today and is set to reconvene in July.
During this session, the upper house of Parliament reviewed and approved the Appropriation Bill without amendments, while also endorsing National Council standing committee reports.
National Council Chairperson Lukas Muha expressed appreciation to MPs for their dedication and commitment throughout the three-week deliberations.
"We are almost done with the consolidated plan of activities for the standing committees and, of course, for cluster committees. The approved document will be distributed to you very soon, hopefully this week, if not today. I therefore appeal to all standing committee chairpersons and chief parliamentary clerks to ensure that the planned activities and programmes are successfully carried out during the course of the 2024–25 financial year."
