The Deputy Director in the Ministry of Sport, Youth & National Service, Irvene Ndjavera, has commended the Bridging the Gap sports initiative, sponsored by Debmarine Namibia and organized by the Namibia Schools Sport Union (NSSU).
Speaking at the recent prize-giving ceremony for the Bridging the Gap initiative in Windhoek, Irvene Ndjavera praised the program for its unique approach, emphasizing how it benefits learners through sports participation.
The Bridging the Gap initiative, under the banner of the NSSU, aims to empower boys and girls under the age of 17 in sports such as soccer, netball, and athletics.
The NSSU, through the Ministry, is undergoing a reform process with a primary focus on talent identification throughout the country.
