Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) President McHenry Venaani launched his party's manifesto in Katima Mulilo, Zambezi Region, on Sunday.

Venaani pledged that, if elected in the upcoming Presidential and National Assembly elections, his party would prioritize the agricultural sector in the Zambezi Region. He emphasized that PDM’s focus will be on transforming agriculture, improving education, and rooting out corruption for the benefit of all Namibians.

The PDM manifesto also promises to boost local industries by establishing factories in every constituency, aiming to create more job opportunities across the country.

Additionally, Venaani vowed to localize procurement by engaging local Vocational Training Centre (VTC) trainees. He also committed to reducing the size of the cabinet, limiting it to 15 ministers and only 4 deputy ministers.

If PDM comes into power, Venaani assured voters that the party would improve informal settlements by ensuring access to clean water and building proper sanitation facilities.

He further reiterated the party's commitment to providing each Namibian with a plot of land.
