Registered Namibian voters abroad and certain groups within the country will vote at Namibian diplomatic missions and designated polling stations this Wednesday, November 13.
This special voting accommodates uniformed personnel, including the Namibian Police, Namibia Correctional Service, Namibia Defence Force, and seagoing personnel.
Dr. Elsie Nghikembua, ECN Chairperson, outlined the commission's readiness, confirming 2,159 registered voters at 35 diplomatic missions and around 8,000 eligible special voters domestically.
"There could be slight variations in diplomatic mission figures as citizens abroad on November 27 will be allowed to vote this Wednesday."
After special voting concludes, counting will begin at each polling station, with results being securely submitted to constituency returning officers until election day.
Eligible voters needing duplicate voter cards can apply between November 18-26. The ECN is also completing training for election and counting agents, along with police officers, across over 2,500 polling stations.
