Outapi-based businessman Tona Amadhila says the late Founding President not only fought for the liberation of the country but also ensured opportunities for local businesses to thrive and contribute to the country's economy.
The business mogul says since independence, the business community has enjoyed support from the government and various institutions that contributed to the development and empowerment of both large and upcoming businesses.
He says the Founding President was a champion of economic emancipation and was always advocating for locals to come up with innovative businesses that could also create jobs.
Amadhila says through his engagements with the late Nujoma, he was inspired to keep his businesses afloat and has created jobs for many.
Amadhila, who would occasionally meet with Nujoma, says his mentorship will be forever cherished, and he called on the business community to capitalise on technology.
He says Nujoma's legacy will live on for generations to come.
