The Otjozondjupa Regional Governor has called on the Otavi Town Council to make land available and affordable to the residents through the accelerated land delivery programme.

James Ureikua says municipalities often miss the point by converting land into income-generating projects, making the land unaffordable to the majority. 

Uerikua assured the Council of his support but wants to see cleanliness in and around town.

Uerikua says it is high time that the business community of Otavi contributes to the development of the town.
