CoW once again without Management Committee

Windhoek is once again without a management committee after a special meeting to elect office bearers was called off due to a lack of quorum.

According to City Mayor, Joseph Uapingene, "This morning, the Minister sent me a letter saying congratulations on your meeting today and please take note that I will also give you a chance until the 3rd of March, so I hope by then you will put your house in order. My last attempt will now be to call all councilors together so that we can sit and perhaps clear some of these misunderstandings and pave the way forward."
