The Landless People's Movement's Bernadus Swartbooi has expressed disappointment with the National Assembly, stating that it fails to embody a democratic space rooted in values and virtues. 

Swartbooi questioned whether the issues debated truly reflect the serious demands of and for the people.

Vendors operating at the Omuthiya Open Market say they are disappointed with the town council for allowing the market to be in a deplorable state.
