PDM MP Inna Hengari has been elected to the Steering Committee of the Global Young MP Initiative of the World Bank Group for the 2026-2028 term.

Parliamentarian Inna Hengari was granted bail of N$ 5 000 in the Katutura Magistrate's Court on Friday after her arrest during the protest against unemployment along with activists Dimbulukeni Nauyoma and Michael Amushelelo. They were arrested on Tuesday.
