The Republican Party of Namibia launched its manifesto for the 2024 election in Windhoek on Wednesday. 

The party's manifesto promises to reduce the country's national debt, which is over 60% of the gross domestic product (GDP). 

The Republican Party (RP) does not support laws that permit the practises of the LGBTQ community.

Speaking at a media conference, the President of the Party, Henk Mudge, based his argument on the Bible.

13-year-old Makanga Johannes Mushongo from Runjarara village in the Kavango East Region, who appealed for assistance with a wheelchair on social media, has received one.

Makanga was born with a disability that prevents him from walking, but he can crawl from one point to another.
