Aminuis farmers were filled with excitement as they hosted their very first livestock auction, organised by the Aminuis Farmers Association.

Aminuis residents in the Omaheke Region have taken it on themselves to support the work of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation, ensuring that they guard against theft and vandalism of the broadcaster's network tower facilities in their area.

The Governor of the Omaheke Region, Pijoo Nganate, said the absence of a chief within the Bakgalagadi community in the Aminuis Constituency has deprived that community of much-needed services.

The position was left vacant after the death of Chief Hubert Tidimalo Ditshabue in 2021.
