Balloti calls for collective action on mental health issues

The Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Dino Balloti, has highlighted that mental health is a cross-cutting issue that requires action from all government stakeholders. 

Balloti addressed the launch of the Teachers' Mental Health Awareness Campaign in Keetmanshoop.

Teenagers in court for possession of fake N$200 notes

Two teenagers charged with possession of counterfeit N$200 notes made a brief appearance in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court.

One of the suspects, a minor whose name cannot be disclosed, was released into the care of a guardian, while 19-year-old Rayvin Hanse remained in police custody.

Since Balhao served as a councillor of the Lüderitz Town Council on the party’s ticket, his tenure as mayor ended following his resignation from the IPC.
