Swapo Party Member of Parliament and leader assigned to the Kunene Region, Bernadette Jagger, says the continued strides in welcoming new and returning members are an indication there is trust for the party to continue leading and serving the nation.

Jagger shared these sentiments during an address at a mini-party rally at Kamanjab Settlement in Kunene Region over the weekend.

The Swapo Party Vice President has reminded party members and supporters to remain united and disciplined on all fronts, also calling on members to focus on strategic economic opportunities for national development.

Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah remarked this during a Swapo Party Rally at Gobabis.

Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasised unity of purpose as a cornerstone of progress and nation-building, saying it should be embraced with discipline.

Rich and poor gap needs narrowing

Swapo Party Vice President and the party's next presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says there is a need to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor.

This, she says, is done by adding value to the country's resources and creating more jobs locally.

Nandi-Ndaitwah was speaking at the Swapo Party rally at Otjiwarongo over the weekend.

Nandi-Ndaitwah says that for the country to develop, each regional economic strength or pillar must be identified.
