Kirsty Coventry, the newly appointed first female President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), paid a courtesy call to President, Dr.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reiterated Namibia's collective resolve to invest in maternal and child health, disease prevention, and public health awareness.

This, as the country joins the rest of the world to commemorate World Health Day 2025, marked on 7 April every year.

President-elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has pledged to fulfil her campaign promises following her decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election, securing 638,560 votes.

Swapo Party Vice President has called on party members to make use of the party's election manifesto when campaigning. 

The Vice President of Namibia, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwa, has expressed her frustration with the slow progress on the renovation of the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.

Speaking at a town council event at Onawa, Ndaitwa emphasised that someone would be held accountable for the delays.

The Vice President of Namibia, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, says the acceleration of the country's developmental agenda can be attained at a fast pace through public-private partnerships. 

She made these remarks during the inauguration of the Onawa police station in the Oshana Region.
