Okorukambe councillor pleased with progress on Epukiro road

Okorukambe Constituency Councillor Rocco Nguvauva is pleased with the progress made at the Epukiro RC to Epukiro Pos 3 phase two road construction.

The eight-kilometre-long phase-two bitumen road is expected to be completed next year.

The constituency councillor of Okorukambe, Rocco Nguvauva, told nbc News that the work has started as planned this month with the construction of the bypass road as a detour while construction is under way.

Phase two of construction of road linking Okorukambe and Epukiro ready

The Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorua, officially handed over a site for the construction of phase two of the road that will link the Okorukambe and Epukiro constituencies in the Omaheke Region.

The nine-kilometre phase two of the low-volume seal standard is expected to commence midway through next month.

The project is set to cost N$29 million, and it will provide jobs to fifty locals.

Roads Authority completes upgrade of Du Plessis Farm-Epukiro RC Road

The Constituency Councillor of Okorukambe in the Omaheke Region, Rocco Nguvauva, is pleased with the progress made by the government, through the Roads Authority, in completing upgrades to the Du Plessis Farm-Epukiro RC Road, to low volume seal standard.

Nguvauva says this is testimony to the sincerity of the government's promised development in the region. 

He says discussions are further underway to extend the road, by another 10km from Epukiro RC to Epukiro pos 3.
