The buildup to the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections has been intense and interesting.

The University of Namibia's (UNAM) Chancellor, Nangolo Mbumba, has officially inaugurated a new extension building for wildlife and tourism studies at the Katima Mulilo Campus, which cost over N$360 million.

The University of Namibia inaugurated the Rhino-Halliburton Technology Centre at its Southern Campus in Keetmanshoop. 

The state-of-the-art facility will improve research and practical training in petroleum geology, engineering geology, geophysics, and data analysis. 

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Namibia said the evidence that students provided during a debate on mineral resources and their impact on the southern community is commendable.

The University of Namibia (UNAM) awarded degrees to 669 students during its spring graduation ceremony, including 15 PhDs.

UNAM Vice-Chancellor Kenneth Matengu praised the graduates for their hard work and perseverance throughout their academic journeys. 

The University of Namibia (UNAM) celebrated national and cultural diversity, fostering global awareness and unity.

Over 900 students graduated from the University of Namibia's Ongwediva Campus.

The University of Namibia (UNAM) Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kenneth Matengu, said N$10 million has been allocated this year for the construction of lecture halls as part of the first phase of the southern campus development cycle.

President Nangolo Mbumba has emphasised that education is the most powerful weapon against poverty. 

Dr. Mbumba, in his capacity as Chancellor of the University of Namibia, said this while officiating at the Southern Campus graduation ceremony. 

Potential graduates from the University of Namibia (UNAM) who are in arrears are currently unable to obtain their qualification certificates or academic transcripts.
