Dr. Job Amupanda, Maureen Hinda-Mbeunde civil case postponed

Judge Collins Parker has postponed the civil case between Dr. Job Amupanda and Maureen Hinda-Mbeunde, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises, to March 12, 2024.


He set aside 12 and 13 March for the continuation of Dr. Amupanda's cross-examination by Hinda-Mbeunde's legal counsel, Doris Hans-Kaumbi.

Hans-Kaumbi could not finalise the questioning today, and the court had to adjourn until next year, which both teams wanted to avoid, but Judge Parker indicated his availability on the bench in 2024.

Higher Education comes to Minister's defence on S&T allowances

AR Activist Dr Job Amupanda continues to release information revealing S&T allowances that were allegedly paid irregularly to the Minister of Higher Education, Dr Itah Kandjii-Murangi.

In its response, the ministry said there was nothing untoward in the payment of these international daily subsistance allowances.

Dr Job Amupanda has published on his social media pages proof of payment, which he claims was made to the minister, for trips that were already funded by international partners.

Amupanda demanded to cease from defamatory allegations against Kandjii-Murangi

Lawyer Clive Kavendji of Kangueehi & Kavendjii Inc. has written to activist Dr. Job Amupanda, demanding that Amupanda cease and desist from posting "false and defamatory" allegations against the Minister of Higher Education, Training, and Innovation, Dr. Itah Kandjii-Murangi.

Dr. Amupanda posted on his social media platforms that the minister has used her office to corruptly use public funds through means of travel allowances in the amount of about N$1,5 million.

NPC's Obeth Kandjoze confirms Dr Amupanda's allegations on HYPHEN negotiations with government

The National Planning Commission's Director General, Obeth Kandjoze, has confirmed to nbc News that the allegations made public by AR Activist Dr Job Amupanda about the terms being negotiated by the government with a German company, HYPHEN, which won the Hydrogen Tender, are true.

But Kandjoze was also quick to point out that those terms are still drafts and negotiations are at an infant stage.
