The United Democratic Front (UDF) Party's Central Committee Member, Daniel Tsaneb, wants young people to be considered for top leadership positions.

Tsaneb said this during an interview with nbc News on the sidelines of the central committee meeting at Usakos, recently.

He says when the younger generation advocates for free expression, the leadership is challenged due to a lack of effective political administration and processes in the party.

The Arandis Constituency Councillor has urged young people to be more innovative in order to come up with new business ideas to curb the high unemployment rate.

This was stated by Benita Imbamba during the handing over of equipment to small business enterprises in Henties Bay.

The equipment was procured through the Arandis Constituency Development Fund.

The fund has so far assisted 16 youth-related projects in both Arandis and Henties Bay.

||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick has called for unity among young people when confronting the challenges facing them.

She made the call while engaging youth from Karasburg East Constituency at Karasburg. 

The youth empowerment meeting was attended by officials from government ministries and the vice chairperson of the National Youth Council Board of Directors.

The governor says she created the platform for youth to come up with proposals on how to address unemployment and poverty in their communities.
