As Padel, also known as Padel Tennis, gains popularity in Namibia, the MTC Dome in Swakopmund recently inaugurated Namibia's first premier indoor Padel court.

The first Padel courts in the country were constructed in Windhoek, featuring four courts where the first games took place last weekend.

Padel is a mix of tennis and squash and is usually played in doubles on an enclosed court surrounded by glass walls and metallic mesh.

The court is one-third the size of a tennis court, making it a sport that combines action, fun, and social interaction.
