Residents of Kongola Village in the Zambezi Region left homeless

Some residents of Kongola Village in the Zambezi Region were left homeless after rain, accompanied by strong winds destroyed their homesteads.

The villagers are now concerned that the situation might worsen as the rainy season is still far from over.

The strong winds have blown off the roofs of many houses in the area.

One of the villagers, Collins Kalyanga's house was destroyed, but fortunately, no one was inside.

Kalyanga appealed to good Samaritans to assist him and his family with whatever they can and said it will be highly appreciated. 

Rain and strong wind blows off roofs of 12 houses at Okombahe

Rain accompanied by a strong wind has blown off the roofs of 12 houses at Okombahe in the Daures Constituency.

The storm also damaged several buildings and uprooted trees, including the famous Acacia, causing further damage to two cars.
 
Several electrical cables were pulled out, leaving the settlement without electricity for up to three hours.
 
A resident, Adolfine #Goses, narrates how she survived the storm while preparing a meal in the kitchen.
 
Her bedroom is left completely without a roof.
