Zambia records first case of MPOX from a Tanzanian national

Zambia has recorded the first case of MPOX from a Tanzanian national in Chitambo district, Central Province.

Health Minister Elijah Muchima said a 32-year-old man was diagnosed with the viral disease after presenting symptoms at Mukando Health Post.

A neuropsychologist who testified in defence of Jandre Dippenaar, who faces multiple counts of murder and is bracing for sentencing, has called for the suspension of his prison term.
