Gobabis councillor arrested for alleged rape of 19-Year-Old man

A local authority councillor in the Gobabis Municipality was arrested on Tuesday on charges of allegedly raping a 19-year-old man in Gobabis. 

It is alleged that the victim went to the Regional Governor's office to obtain important documents and met the 34-year-old suspect outside.

Hochland High School was one of those that responded promptly and organised a service on the school field.

The memorial service, which took place at the German Evangelical Lutheran Church, was an opportunity to learn about the late Professor Tötemeyers' personal side.

The professor was an active member of the church, sometimes preaching twice a Sunday up until recently.

Angola's President to attend late Geingob's funeral service

Angola's President, João Lourenço, will lead a high-level delegation to the state funeral of the late President Hage Geingob on February 25, 2024.

This was confirmed by the Vice President of the ruling party of Angola, MPLA, Luísa Damião, during a meeting with President Nangolo Mbumba at State House.
