The suspect in a double murder case at Farm Josephine in the Dordabis district of the |Khomas Region has committed suicide.

The Namibian Police traced the suspect in the farm killings, identified as 30-year-old Michael Simaneka Martin, to the Oshikweyo Village of Eheke in the Oshana Region.

A police spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, says the suspect, unfortunately, turned a gun on himself and killed himself on the spot in clear view of the police and some family members.

The stolen Land Cruiser was found a few meters away from his residence.

The police discovered the bodies of two Namibian men, 22-year-old Visser Bock and 30-year-old Albertus Bock, at Farm Josephine yesterday.

The bodies were found in an almost decomposed state, each with a gunshot wound to the head.

It was reported that Martin, who was an employee at the farm, called the owner of the farm, a retired judge, about an ongoing robbery at the farmhouse.
    
He alleged that six people stormed the farmhouse and forced him to call the owner to demand a safety pin, which the owner refused to provide.

The owner alerted the police, who made the gruesome discovery.

A Toyota Land Cruiser and two firearms belonging to the farm owner were allegedly stolen.
