SUN urges NSFAF to speed up payment of non-tuition fee

The Student Union of Namibia (SUN) has called on the Namibia Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) to immediately commence with the monthly payments of the non-tuition fee by the end of this month to avert a strike.

Higher Education Minister extends invitation to trade unions to join NTA Board

The Minister of Higher Education has invited trade unions to nominate four members to the Namibia Training Authority Board.

This follows a call by unions and employer associations last week that the current board be dissolved, as it is allegedly not properly constituted in accordance with the law.
