The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) wants the country to head to the polls again by 19 March for fresh presidential and national assembly elections.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has announced its readiness to facilitate the inspection of sensitive materials used during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections following a recent High Court ruling. 

Registered voters for the upcoming Presidential and National Assembly Elections will be able to vote at any polling station around the country. 

With just 12 days remaining until the Presidential and National Assembly Elections, the Council of Churches in Namibia (CCN) convened a dialogue with political party leaders in Windhoek.

In preparation for the upcoming November 2024 Presidential and National Assembly elections, the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) facilitated a training session for Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) journalists.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is calling on young people to take the lead in the Presidential and National Assembly Elections slated for November 27th.

The ECN just launched its electoral calendar, which contains all electoral activities. 

All eligible Namibians are expected to register afresh for the Presidential and National Assembly Elections.

The Chief Electoral and Referenda Officer of the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN), Peter Shaama, outlined the schedule of the upcoming Presidential and National Assembly elections due to take place in November. 

Namibia will vote on November 27 to elect the president and members of the National Assembly.

The announcement was made by Urban and Rural Development Minister Erastus Uutoni.

Other key dates announced were dates for general voter registration, which will be from June 3 to August 1.
