Suiderlig Secondary School in Keetmanshoop has received a donation of N$250,000 from the Swakop Uranium Foundation for the repair of the school hostel. This contribution was pledged during the school’s gala dinner on 1 August 2025.

NAMRA AND FNB DONATE N$25,000 TO OLD AGE HOME AND SCHOOL

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NAMRA), in collaboration with First National Bank of Namibia, has handed over donations worth N$25.000 to Annelie Olivier Old Age Home and Baumgartsbrunn Primary School.

The donation forms part of the two institutions' commitment to recognise and support community initiatives.

TWO SCHOOLS RECEIVE N$25K DONATIONS

Two equal cheques of N$25,000 were donated to two schools in the Zambezi Region.

Bukalo Primary School and Silumbi Combined School both benefited from the gesture by former learner George Mayumbelo.

Silumbi Combined School will use the donation to buy 25 hostel beds. 

GANSU COMPANY DONATES 12 CLASSROOMS

Gansu Construction Company Investment Holdings has donated 12 classrooms to Simanya Combined School in the Kavango West Region, following the conclusion of their contract. 

Gansu Construction Company Investment Holdings was awarded a tender to construct a school hostel at Simanya Combined School. 

Navachab Mine donates equipment to NIMT

QKR Navachab Gold Mine donated industrial equipment worth N$250,000 to the Namibia Institute of Mining and Technology -NIMT in Arandis.

The donation is aimed at strengthening practical skills development for future artisans and technicians.

Germany donates N$30m mobile command post to Defence Ministry

The German Armed Forces Technical Advisory Groups handed over a mobile command post worth more than N$30 million to the Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs.

The mobile command post is a quickly deployable unit to command troops in and out of the area of operation.
