NATIONAL COUNCIL DONATES N$27,609 TO CUBA

The National Council has handed over a donation of N$27,609 to the Namibia-Cuba Solidarity Campaign in support of humanitarian assistance for the Cuban people.

The contribution was raised through individual donations from members of the National Council. 

BANK WINDHOEK DONATES ESSENTIALS TO KUFAMOSHA DISABILITY CENTRE

The Bank Windhoek Omuthiya branch on Thursday donated groceries, toiletries, and other essential items to the Kufamosha Information Disability Centre at Omalindi in the Oshikoto Region.

Branch Head Natanael Natanael said the donation forms part of the bank's corporate social responsibility initiatives. 

RUGURU INVESTMENT DONATES CLASSROOM BLOCK TO KAMINA SCHOOL

Ruguru Investment donated a two-classroom block to Kamina Junior Primary School at Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.

The donation is worth N$1.3 million.

Kamina Junior Primary School was established in 1979.

PUBLIC ENTERPRISES CEOs FORUM DONATES TO KAVANGO EAST SCHOOLS

The Public Enterprises CEOs' Forum is set to donate N$500,000 to four schools in the Kavango East Region. 

The schools are Kaisosi Combined School, Livuyu Junior Primary School, Kippi George Primary School and Sarusungu Combined School. 

MUSHELENGA FAMILY DONATES TO OSIRE REFUGEE CAMP LEARNERS

The family of a late former commissioner of refugees in the Home Affairs Ministry has donated clothing items to 215 pre-school learners at the Osire Refugee Camp in the Otjozondjupa region.

The family donated the items as part of the legacy of the late Nkrumah Mushelenga, a veteran who died in 2022.

SWAKOP URANIUM FOUNDATION DONATES TO SUIDERLIG HOSTEL REPAIRS

Suiderlig Secondary School in Keetmanshoop has received a donation of N$250,000 from the Swakop Uranium Foundation for the repair of the school hostel. This contribution was pledged during the school’s gala dinner on 1 August 2025.
