Creatives from Gobabis came out in large numbers to engage with the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation management team ahead of the Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia pageants.
 

The NBC's leadership is engaging key stakeholders in the Omaheke Region ahead of hosting the Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia 2026 pageants. 

The engagement focused on security planning and the role of law enforcement during the pageants.

The Omaheke Region will host this year's Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia pageants, bringing one of the country's biggest national events to the region. 

The prestigious events will be held on 31 July and 1 August, respectively.

Reigning Miss Namibia Johanna Swartbooi, First Runner-up Uatjiri Mbaisa, and Second Runner-up Tuilika Andreas have each received fixed-term investment accounts from Namibia Post Limited (NAMPOST). The initiative forms part of NamPost’s ongoing support for the Miss Namibia Organisation.

The International Training College has partnered with the Miss Namibia Organization and the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation to empower pageant contestants beyond the stage through education and development.

Former Miss Namibia, Cassia Sharpley, has returned to Namibia after participating in the Miss Cosmo International Beauty Pageant in Vietnam last week on Saturday.

Miss Namibia, Johanna Swartbooi, will be allowed to choose the location and design of her new two-bedroom house courtesy of the National Housing Enterprise (NHE).

NHE met with the Miss Namibia Organisation to deliberate on the location of her choice. 

Miss Namibia, Johanna Swartbooi, returned home following her participation in the 74th Miss Universe Pageant Finale, held on 21 November in Thailand. 

Swartbooi did not advance to the Top 30, exiting the competition after the preliminary round.

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has condemned and rejected the ongoing tribal, defamatory and discriminatory attacks directed at Miss Namibia, Johanna Swartbooi.

Miss Namibia Johanna Swartbooi has set her sights on the universe as she departed to represent Namibia at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, scheduled for November 2 to 21, 2025. 

The 28-year-old model hopes to represent the unity and cultural diversity of Namibia on the global stage.
