Workers of NovaNam at Luderitz in the ||Kharas Region claim they have been kept in the dark on the distribution of N$10 million in workers' shares in the fishing company.

The workers handed over a petition to the HR Manager, demanding an audience with the company's management on the status of their shares.

Delivering the petition on behalf of the workers, Rebekka Uusiku called on the management of NovaNam not to change the shareholding of 15% of the workers to trustees without the workers' consent.

The workers equally demand that temporary employees be included in the 15% shareholding.

Receiving, the petition on behalf of management was the Human Resource Manager, Manu Namukomba.

The workers have given NovaNam management five working days to address them on the status of workers shares in the company.
