The Chairperson of the ||Kharas Regional Council, Josef Isaacks, has commended the Ministry of Sport, Youth, and National Service for exposing the young ones to entrepreneurship while they are in their early years.

Young people from all 14 of the country's 14 regions assembled at the Keetmanshoop Multi-Purpose Youth Resource Centre to take part in a one-week training workshop on entrepreneurship skills.

"You have the opportunity today to be trained in entrepreneurship. You will acquire skills, and we must not take them for granted. You must make it a serious business. You must make use of every opportunity to take that knowledge and go and plant wherever you come from. You are representing the masses out there, and when you go home, people will benefit from the skills that you are going to acquire."

The government-to-government programme, supported by the US, aims to build life skills in the areas of comprehensive sexual education, gender-based violence, and economic strengthening.
