The Namibian Parliament and the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba have signed a Protocol on Cooperation, marking a new phase in their longstanding relationship.
The agreement, signed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Peter Katjavivi, and Cuba's Speaker, Juan Esteban Lazo Hernández, aims to enhance collaboration between the two parliamentary institutions.
The Protocol outlines areas of cooperation, including the exchange of information, joint meetings, and capacity-building programs. It also establishes a Joint Parliamentary Working Group to oversee projects and ensure mutual benefits, further strengthening ties between the two nations based on shared history and solidarity.
